About the Festival

Get ready for three days of family-friendly fun at the annual Holly Beach Crab Festival! Set right on the beautiful Creole Nature Trail, this is Southwest Louisiana’s favorite coastal celebration—where locals and visitors alike come together to enjoy live music, food, games, and classic Gulf traditions.

Bring your own lawn chairs and plan for a relaxing time on one of Louisiana’s most popular Gulf beaches. Coolers are allowed Friday only (Saturday: no outside coolers, but beer will be sold on-site).

  • Registration: Friday night, $25 per entry
  • Categories: Crab Appetizer, Crab Side Dish, Crab Entrée, Bayou Dish (any bayou ingredients), Dessert (does not have to include crab)
  • Turn-In Times:
    • 11:00 AM – Crab Appetizer
    • 11:15 AM – Crab Side Dish
    • 11:30 AM – Crab Main Dish
    • 11:45 AM – Bayou Dish
    • 12:00 PM – Dessert
  • Awards: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each category + Overall Grand Champion
